Hunger, Poverty, and Health Disparities During COVID-19 and the Federal Nutrition Programs Role in an Equitable Recovery

This webinar will focus on increases in food insecurity during COVID-19, the connections between food insecurity, poverty, and health, how COVID-19 has exacerbated inequities, and the role of federal nutrition programs in an equitable recovery. The new 2020 annual food insecurity data scheduled to be released by Census and USDA on September 8th is a key resource for understanding the effects of the pandemic. It will also be essential to interpret the data in light of any potential special circumstances around data collection.

Join FRAC and our partners for a conversation reflecting on what we have learned about food insecurity during the pandemic and what our policy priorities should be to ensure an equitable, long-term recovery and an end to hunger.
